DeVoss Harrison

DeVoss graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology; and Leadership Studies from Florida State University and earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Florida A&M University. As a new grad, she is interested in all things! She aims to gain as much knowledge as possible but has enjoyed learning more about hands and pelvic floor treatment. AOTA, FOTA, and Pi Theta Epsilon are among her professional affiliations. She initially desired a career in medicine so that she could assist others. She further researched “therapies” because she couldn’t handle all the blood and needles in her everyday jobs. She took the opportunity to observe PT, OT, and SLP before deciding that occupational therapy was the ideal career choice because it allowed her to utilize her creative side for individualized and holistic treatment. Outside work, she enjoys exploring new places and playing with her dog, Dwight. She has ten siblings—that’s right, ten! She comes from a small beach town on Florida’s panhandle and has an identical sister who is also her best friend.
