Integrity Rehab and Physical Therapy in Leander, TX is looking for a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant who takes pride in doing things the right way—for patients and for the profession. In this role, you’ll provide hands-on physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed physical therapist, following physician referrals and individualized Plans of Care. Your focus will be on helping patients actively participate in their recovery, guiding them through a thoughtful progression of care that builds confidence, independence, and long-term success in the least restrictive environment possible.
You’ll be expected to deliver rehabilitation services that are safe, effective, and consistently high-quality, while maintaining accurate documentation and clear communication with the care team. Just as important, your work will reflect and support Integrity Rehab’s mission and goals, ensuring all services meet federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. This is a role for a PTA who values integrity, patient engagement, and delivering care that truly makes a difference.
Compensation: $60,000 – $68,000

Education: associate degree
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a 2-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
- Holds and maintains valid state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state(s) of practice.
- Possesses a valid state driver’s license and maintains automobile liability insurance in accordance with Integrity Rehab guidelines.
- Maintains current CPR certification.
- Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
- Knowledgeable of federal and state regulations and guidelines related to outpatient care.
- Ability to organize, manage, and function independently as assigned.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to safely and effectively utilize various types of therapy equipment.
- Ability to assess patient responses to therapy interventions.
- Demonstrates independent judgment and ability to work within an interdisciplinary environment.
- Ability to cope with the mental and emotional demands of the position.
- Ability to work cooperatively with patients, supervisors, coworkers, other healthcare professionals, and the public.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Willingness to perform duties that may involve exposure to blood, body fluids, and infectious waste.
- One year of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Skills:
- Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
- Comfortable managing a double-booked caseload.
- Experience with Raintree EMR or willingness to learn.
- Willingness to learn and assist in the treatment of pelvic floor diagnoses.
Responsibilities:
This list includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:
- Accepts delegated authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to carry out assigned duties.
- Reports directly to the Clinic Director and supervising Physical Therapist.
- Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge and skills related to the practice of physical therapy.
- Implements patient plans of care as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Maintains consistent communication with patients, family members, and clinic staff to support effective patient care.
- Completes documentation accurately and timely, as instructed by the Physical Therapist.
- Assists in evaluating the effectiveness of the plan of care based on patient response and progress toward established goals.
- Collaborates with the Physical Therapist to recommend modifications to the plan of care based on patient condition and response to treatment.
- Adheres to all Integrity Rehab policies and procedures.
- Maintains professional appearance and conduct according to Integrity Rehab standards.
- Maintains a safe, quiet, professional, and confidential environment for patients and coworkers.
- Ensures accurate and timely completion of assignments, paperwork, orders, requests, and reports.
- Attends required staff meetings and in-service education sessions.
- Maintains reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Engages in ongoing continuing education and professional development.
- Complies with the Employee Handbook, HIPAA regulations, Compliance Plan, drug testing requirements, and all Integrity Rehab policies and procedures.
